The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, August 3 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will admit to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) he’s not in love with her daughter.
Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will dig up dirt on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Plus, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will refuse to work at Newman Enterprises. And Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi) will tell Nate to stay away.
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will arrive in Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) hotel room. And he’ll say he’s got the goods on Tucker. “If you put it to good use, Tucker’s control over you will be seriously compromised.” Adam learned Tucker’s record label’s PR company held back information about an artist and underage girls until a tour was finished. “And I came across two emails to Tucker McCall from Audra Charles.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Will Keep Her Mouth Shut
“Wow, Tucker and his sidekick Audra Charles covered up statutory rape?” Phyllis will say. She’ll thank Adam and head to Society to meet Tucker. But she’ll run into Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) first. The DA will tell her to enjoy her short stint of freedom. However, Phyllis will gloat she has everything she needs to beat the charges. Christine will point out her daughter still faces serious charges. However, she might not pursue charges against Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) if Phyllis pleads guilty.
Tucker will arrive and Christine will tell Phyllis to speak with her lawyer and get back to her by the end of the week. Phyllis and Tucker will sit down and she’ll lay it all out for him. If he produces the EMT, she’ll keep her mouth shut about him covering up statutory rape and an email from Audra.
At Crimson Lights, Chloe will tell Sally the Newman Enterprises idea is “a recipe for disaster.” But Sally will point out it’s a solid, guaranteed contract. “You know what I see, Victor having his son’s girlfriend under his thumb, Chloe will reply. “There is not a chance in hell that I will be waiting for Victor to get pissed off and grind me into the ground.”
Sally will encounter Adam at the park and she’ll tell him she’s starting to heal. She realizes she can either wallow in the darkness, or move on from a tragedy she can’t do anything about. But Adam will admit he’s not there yet. Then she’ll take his hand. “If and when you are ready to talk about it, you know where to find me and I’ll be willing to listen.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Elena Could Light The Fire
Meanwhile, Nikki will tell Nate she’d like him to meet her at the GCAC. Once they arrive, he’ll thank Nikki for the opportunity to get to know her. “Please, I just cannot bear to hear you blow some more smoke,” she’ll reply and ask him what it is he wants. Nate will say he’d like to run Newman side by side with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Nikki will ask if he’s in love with her daughter and he’ll admit he’s not. But Nikki will wonder what happens if they break up.
However, Nate will say he and Victoria are in no hurry and down the line he can see himself falling for Victoria. And Nate will have no idea Elena is listening in. Nikki will warn Nate that Victoria has protective parents. “So if you bring her more pain and anxiety than happiness, you’re gone,” she’ll say. “Not within days, within minutes. And then all of your ego and ambition have gotten you absolutely nowhere.”
From her table, Elena will smile. When Nikki takes a call, Nate will approach his ex. He’ll say it’s nice to see her. “Nate, could you please stop it with the I’m a good guy act?” she’ll reply. “Stop trying to be civil with me because I am not going to reciprocate.” Elena will tell him the games he’s playing will backfire and burn him to the ground. “And who knows, maybe I’ll be the person to light the fire. That was a warning. Stay away from me.”
Finally, Nikki will witness the encounter and she’ll tell Nate that if everything works out between he and Victoria, then he’s looking at his best friend. “But if my daughter turns out to be your next Amanda, or your next Elena, you’re looking at your worst nightmare.”
